Title: 1st/2nd Line Support
Salary: £26k per annum
Location: Central London
A fantastic opportunity has come up providing 1st & 2nd Line Support on a permanent basis within a prestigious global advertising agency based in Central London. The organisation are looking for a motivated IT Support Administrator looking to further their career in a busy creative and media environment. You must be comfortable communicating with people at all levels within the business, whilst always being approachable, having a cheerful attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Duties:
• Helpdesk system
o Manage and take full ownership
o Allocate support tickets appropriately and promptly
o Communicate with requestor on ticket status and resolution actions
o Escalate issues to senior colleagues if issue cannot be resolved in a timely manner
• AD administration
o Create workstations
o Maintain distribution lists and security groups
o 70% Mac / 30% PC
• End users
o Manage starters and leavers process, coordinating with HR.
o Build and profile new machines (approx. 70% mac and 30% PC)
o Install and configure any appropriate peripheral equipment (monitors, docking stations, mice, keyboards)
• Check all printers and meeting room equipment each morning
• Patching both floor ports and patch panel as required
• Keeping comms room tidy and organised
• Maintain accurate IT inventory
Skills & Experience:
Essential
• Experience working in an IT support role (Windows 10)
• Experience in troubleshooting Macs at desktop level (OS X 10.12 upwards)
o Less Mac experience may be accepted provided there is interest and willingness to learn and build up Mac knowledge
• Working knowledge of Active Directory administration
• Keen learner
• Aptitude for problem solving
Desirable
• Skype for business console administration would be very advantageous
• Knowledge of JAMF (Casper) for mac build/administration
• Knowledge of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit for PC builds
• Knowledge of LANDesk for centralised PC administration
