2nd/3rd Line Helpdesk Engineer

H&R Talent are seeking a 2nd/3rd Line Helpdesk Engineer on a permanent basis for an expanding company based in Brighton. This role will predominantly be office based where you will be responsible for providing remote, phone and email support to a wide variety of clients, although more helpdesk based you will be expected to have a strong technical background providing support across a wide variety of technologies and skill-sets. Day to day you will be responsible for resolving tickets, from 1st -2nd line and 3rd line support, as well as working to SLA’s and meeting in-house KPI’s.

Key Technical Skills:
*Windows Server 2008- 2016
*Active Directory/DNS/Group Policy etc
*Office 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Skype for Business
*Azure Platform
*Exchange 2007- 2016
*VMware/Microsoft Hyper-V
*SAN’s
*Networking principals including VLAN’s and routing.
*Firewall solutions such as SonicWALL, Fortinet and WatchGuard.
*Backup & disaster recovery solutions such as StorageCraft, Veeam and Symantec etc.

Desirable but not essential:
*Previous experience working for an MSP/ IT Services company
*Full UK driving license

On a personal level you must possess excellent communication skill and have the ability to liaise with a wide range of clients in a professional and friendly manner, as well as being an excellent team player.
