Benefits: Target of 10% performance bonus, Overtime rates: £25 per hour weekdays and £35 per hour weekend.
H&R Talent are seeking an 2nd/3rd Line IT Support Engineer on a permanent basis for an IT Services company based in the City of London. You will be working with Professional Services clients; predominantly within the Financial and Legal sector all which offices are based in and round the city and Mayfair, all travel to clients sites is in London.
Key technical skills required: Window Server 2008/ 2012, Exchange 2010/ 2013, Active Directory, VMware/ Hyper-V, Networking skills (VLAN/ VPN), BES Express, BES Enterprise, BES 10, Citrix, SQL, VMware, Backups and Monitoring.
You will also gain commercial experience to Financial Market data producs such as; Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset and datastream.With regards to the Legal clients you will gain exposure to document management systems, billing systems, printing solutions etc. The IT Services company is responsible for their own project management when it comes to user change management, relocations, new startups etc.
The focus of this role will be on managing and administering server infrastructure but experience of networking such as setting up VLAN’s/ VPN’s will be required also. The ideal candidate will have a passion for IT and possess excellent people skills as this will be a client facing role!
You will be working within a team of between 5-7 reporting directly to the Team Manager. You will be supporting various prestigious organisation’s mainly on-site; such as Hedge Funds, Trading and Law firms based across the City and Central London.
