Data Scientist

H&R Talent are seeking a Data Scientist for a startup company based in Central London who will support the product, sales, leadership and marketing teams with insights gained from analyzing company data. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collecting data through means such as analyzing business results or by setting up and managing new studies
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
• Building tools to automate data collection
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
• Creating reports and presentations for business uses

Skills/Requirements:

• Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python, R
• Knowledge in developing software and data models
• Strong experience in conducting big data analysis
• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB
• Experience with common data science toolkits
• Working knowledge of statistics
• Strong problem-solving skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
