DevOps Engineer

H&R Talent are seeking a DevOps Engineer on a permanent basis for an established company based in Central London. You will be responsible for assisting developers in the application development lifecycle, design and build systems for the company’s cloud platform and enable the team to deliver smoothly and efficiently without compromising the quality.

Requirements:

• Installation, backup, configuration, operation and monitoring of Linux/Unix systems
• Strong working knowledge with AWS & Azure cloud experience
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Managing of CI/CD and support developer teams using Salt/Ansible and python
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, BitBucket
• Solid scripting background (Java, C# or Bash)  
• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
•  Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred
• A very good teamplayer
• Excellent communication skills
