H&R Talent are seeking at IT Support Engineer on a permanent basis for an IT Solutions company based in Central London. The role will be roughly 70% Mac and 30% Windows based support, this should even out to 50/50 split over time, therefore the ideal candidate will have cross- platform experience with both Mac and Windows. You will be supporting a wide variety of clients from Designers, Financial & Education.
Key Technical Skills:
*MAC OS & Windows
*Networking/ IPv4/ Wireless
*Good working knowledge with Cloud environments
*Professional certifications for Microsoft or Apple are highly desirable but not essential
*Previous MSP experience is also highly desirable but not essential
The role will be largely providing support over the telephone, remotely and via email, but with some on-site support from time to time, on-site visits are normally rotated amongst the team. The Service desk is a team of 4, and the role will be extremely varied and are looking for an individual who can think on their feet and excel within a fast- paced environment.
The standard working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm. On-call may be required 1 week in every 4 which is payable in addition to your current salary.
