Senior Service Desk Analyst (1st-3rd Line)

H&R Talent are seeking a Senior Service Desk Analyst (1st- 3rd Line) on a permanent basis for an IT Services company based in the City of London. Day to day you will be responsible for providing 1st to 3rd line service desk phone/ email support to clients within the Financial and Legal sector, ensuring all calls are logged and tickets are promptly responded/resolved. You will act as the last port of all call for all technical issues on the service desk, and will be responsible for training/mentoring junior staff as well as develop service desk processes. You will form an integral part of improving and developing the service desk.

Essential technical skills required:

*Window Server 2008/ 2012

*Exchange/ Office 365

*Active Directory

*Back up Technologies

*Anti-virus

*Pc, laptop & server builds

*iPhones, Blackberry’s and tablet experience

Desirable:

*Previous experience within an IT Services/MSP is highly desirable.

Some of your other day to day duties will include; Office 365/Active Directory- creating, deleting/ modifying groups/ users, resolving anti-virus issues, as well as performing monthly maintenance of clients servers according to the maintenance schedule. As well as daily checking of client backups, investigating/ escalating back up issues, testing back up restores. The ideal candidate will have a passion for IT and will be extremely well organised and possess an excellent telephone manner who prides themselves on their excellent customer service skills.

You will also gain commercial experience to Financial Market data products such as; Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset and datastream. With regards to the Legal clients you will gain exposure to document management systems, billing systems, printing solutions etc.
