A fantastic opportunity as a Senior 2nd line Service Desk Analyst has come up on a permanent basis within an established and continually growing Financial IT Services company based in the City of London.
Day to day you will be responsible for providing 1st, 2nd & some 3rd line support to clients via telephone, remotely and via email, mentor/ train junior service desk analysts, act as an escalation point to junior service desk analysts, log and track incident and requests through the call logging system through to resolution. Other duties will include password resets, group polices, account creation/deletion, application installs/issues. Other times you may be dealing with more complex technical issues to do with virtual machines, backup issues, server issues etc. You will also be responsible for supporting financial market applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset and datastream.
