A Leading Advertising Company have a newly created position for Associate Desktop Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The UK office is in Shoreditch.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The company is looking for a confident, outgoing and proactive individual to join their Desktop support team responsible for delivering end user focused IT support for staff in two European offices. Daily duties will involve hardware imaging of both Macintosh and Windows machines, new hire onboarding, software deployment, troubleshooting user issues and providing IT support to a growing user base. The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be comfortable dealing with people at all levels within the organisation, providing in-person and remote support.
Essential skills:
Background in end-user support
Experience supporting Macintosh AND Windows operating systems
Experience with ticket management systems
Experience with administering user accounts and computers in Active Directory
Previously supported MS Office (Windows and Macintosh)
Remote support experience
Clear communicator and team player
Friendly and approachable personality who is comfortable with face-to-face support
Able to manage time effectively and prioritise work between daily responsibilities and project work
The individual must be able to identify, research, and resolve technical problems, and document, track, and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
First class analysis and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and communications skills, oral and written.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Cloud collaboration tools such as Google Apps for business, Slack, Box, Atlassian
Experience supporting video conferencing applications such as Skype for business, Google Hangouts, Zoom.
Experience in troubleshooting AV equipment in conference rooms
Exposure to JAMF suite of tools for managing laptops
Hybrid Working:
The company has been operating a hybrid working model since the pandemic. Depending on the business needs the successful candidate must be able to commute to Shoreditch office when required.
