​An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Desktop Support Engineer in the Global IT Solutions company based in Central London. You will be the first point of contact to resolve the issues within the office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 1st & 2nd line support of PC, Mac and other computer related issues.

  • Administration of user accounts, desktops, consoles, and other systems

  • Assisting with management of servers and network infrastructure

  • New desktop/laptop installations and troubleshooting

  • Monitoring of network, applications, and services

  • Any other ad-hoc IT duties that may be required to provide an effective and efficient service.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong IT support experience

  • Expert knowledge of Windows 10 and Mac OS

  • Understanding of basic LAN/WAN technologies

  • Familiarity of MS Exchange Server, Email and Microsoft Outlook

  • Linux administration

  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
