An established legal services company based in Manchester is looking for a passionate and skilled IT Engineer that has previous experience in IT Infrastructure and Cloud technology. This role will work closely with various teams across the company and therefore must be able to provide technical support accordingly. A highly organised, collaborative and technologically well-versed candidate is ideal.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues within the company
Manage and monitor all IT support tickets to ensure the Technical Support function runs smoothly and efficiently.
Work closely with teams throughout the business to ensure technical issues and projects are correctly managed.
Investigating, diagnosing and resolving major incidents.
Report team and individual performance achievements to the IT Manager to ensure they are recognised through the appropriate channels.
Experience in IT infrastructure and cloud technology.
A good understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
Azure Active Directory, M365 including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams, Compliance and Security
Enterprise Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware and Encryption Applications, DLP, Email Secure Gateways and website filtering (ZScaler)
Cloud-based video conferencing and phone systems e.g. Teams, Slack, Google Meet, 8x8
IT hardware such as desktops, laptops, meeting room video conferencing devices, printers and phone systems
Knowledge of GDPR and associated data retention requirements an advantage
Some basic Apple MacBook experience also an advantage
Approachable, a team player, self-motivated, organised, adaptable and a quick learner
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
