​An Award-winning Media Production Company based in London are looking for an IT Support Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This will be Monday to Thursday in their offices with Friday working from home/remotely.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The company is looking for an IT Support Analyst to join a small team of 3 people in the TV/media industry. Primarily 1st/2nd line IT support, with opportunity for exposure to 3rd line matters dependent on level of experience and willingness to learn. The role will be primarily office based, therefore the individual must be friendly and approachable, with the ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot. There will also be the occasional requirement to visit temporary satellite offices, UK wide. Each day will provide a new challenge, therefore they are looking for someone who is quick on their feet, ready to work closely with people and respond to unusual requests.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Respond promptly to all queries, regardless of level of sophistication, resolve where possible and delegate accordingly.

  • Acute understanding of request priorities when multi-tasking incidents, engaging with staff member and providing feedback. Special care and attention provided to VIPs.

  • Working with line manager and colleagues to address recurring technical issues and provide ideas towards business change.

  • Providing training to staff (particularly freelancers) and creating/amending guide documentation.

  • Onboarding and offboarding users in a high freelance turnover environment.

  • Monitoring and administering security to users, in adherence to company policies.

  • Maintain IT hardware and keep asset management up to date.

Skills / Experience / Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of MacOS, iOS, Windows 10 and Server 2012-2019.

  • Proficient in Office365, federation services, domain controllers.

  • Experience of Active Directory, role based access control, group policy.

  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networking.

  • Knowledge of audio/visual equipment in meeting rooms.

  • Desired experience – McAfee, Fortinet, Powershell, VMWare, Azure.
