​An outstanding law firm based in Cardiff is currently seeking an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join their IT team in supporting a large number of employees across several office locations. The ideal candidate is someone who has prior experience in service desk and must be able to exhibit his/her problem solving and troubleshooting skills within Desktop and Network environments. Other than the technical skills, a team player who has passion for IT and in providing excellent customer service is the best candidate they are looking for.


  • Providing technical and hardware support for office gadgets and devices

  • Resolving Service Desk tickets

  • Supporting work applications such as telephone, email, browsers, Microsoft OS

  • Accomplishing IT Asset Management for employees

  • Identifying root cause analysis and providing efficient recommendations for long-term solutions

  • Coordinate with suppliers for strategic projects and onsite support

  • Communicate accordingly with users to motivate best practice and efficient use of applications and services

Other Skills And Experience Should Include:

  • Relevant technical experience in a distributed end-user environment; MS Windows, MS Office

  • Technical/hardware support for desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, telephony, local servers, networks, cabling, printers and large office equipment including scanners, photocopiers

  • A proven structured and analytical problem-solving ability

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a willingness to share information and learn from others.

  • A full driving licence.
