A global software development company located in Central London is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to be part of their team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate business strategies and requirements to establish security requirements for cloud-based solutions, incorporating industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27000 series, and CSA in the process.
Effectively implement and oversee cloud security solutions throughout the entire lifecycle, including strategy development, design, implementation, and operational phases.
Continuously monitor emerging threats in the cloud, assessing their impact on IT and business, and proactively develop and implement security controls.
Participate in, lead, and collaboratively produce security evaluation reports for various cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP), cloud-native platforms (PCF, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), and Software as a Service solutions.
Offer expertise in both public and private cloud environments, as well as enterprise technology, to enhance overall security.
Provide recommendations for enhancing security posture and reducing risks by conducting assessments of the company’s cloud security.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
Full-time experience in leadership roles focused on Cloud Security, with a proven track record of delivering security solutions in complex environments with cloud-native, distributed architectural solutions.
More than 3 years of experience in defining security standards and reference architectures, providing guidance to technical resources for the secure implementation and configuration of enterprise cloud systems,
Familiarity with leading public cloud providers, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Understanding of industry trends in cloud technologies, covering public, private, and hybrid cloud deployments.
One or more technical security certifications is a plus, such as CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), and CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional).
