We have an exciting opportunity come up at one of the fastest growing retail company who are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join their security team. Your main responsibility is to secure the systems, services, and infrastructure that the company runs on. This is a permanent opportunity with hybrid working based in Central London.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor networks for security breach, vulnerabilities and attack.
Investigate and resolve complex and critical security issues and produce recommendations to influence change.
Maintain and support the Internet Security stack including proxies, Web application firewalls, IDPS etc
Implementation, management and maintenance of security toolsets
maintain awareness of emerging threat and network defence technologies.
Prepare and present quarterly risk reviews for senior management.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Security, Information Technology or Computer Science
Knowledge of security standards
Good knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, virtualisation and network security
Knowledge of common OS and Network topologies
Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods
Relevant certifications such as ISO, CISSP, SSCP
