A global manufacture and design company based in Twickenham (with onsite parking included if required) are seeking an energetic and passionate IT Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
They are looking for someone to ensure an effective IT deployment including infrastructure, desktop support and internal procedures in conjunction with global team as well as to support the business operations by ensuring effective software platforms consistent and compliant locally as well as within the global company structures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and deploy IT strategy supporting growth and overall business objectives in conjunction with US IT team to ensure compliance both locally and within global framework
Responsible for the development, management and continued maintenance of the company IT infrastructure across Europe and Australasia and keep in line with US corporate IT objectives, standards and integration requirements
Champion digital transformation and platform development as well as identifying digital ambassadors within the business to drive the change
Be the face of technology – Work with Heads of Departments and the Leadership Team to embed IT in the business and develop a technical roadmap that encompasses relevant areas of IT strategy
Build and develop an IT Team comprising of various roles and responsibilities and develop skills and share practices across direct reports and colleagues
Establish, implement and maintain information system and information security policies, procedure and controls in line with business and corporate objectives and in compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory obligations
Build, manage and oversee relationships with IT vendors and third party support providers including evaluating performance, value for money and ensuring user satisfaction levels are maintained
Build realistic IT budget projections, monitoring variances and making required adjustments for both Opex and Capex
Develop use of ERP system(s) to in conjunction with other teams
Evaluate and deploy suitable cybersecurity initiatives in conjunction with group IT colleagues
Update and maintain the Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery manual and procedures in regard to all IT aspects
Ensure the day-to-day/business as usual operations
Support both on site and remote working colleagues by providing internal technical and third- party solutions
Work with colleagues to manage and update/improve SharePoint and intranet content and capabilities
Maintain register of all users, licences and IT related contracts including renewal dates
Liaise and co-ordinate internal colleagues to ensure ‘good housekeeping’ protocols are followed in terms of file and data management and ensure compliance with company policies
Overseeing and attending meetings as required to ensure evaluate any IT related projects are appropriately scoped and costed
Maintain general systems access controls in conjunction with colleagues
Develop and enhance effective communication to train colleagues on company IT systems and procedures as well as initiate training manuals and internal newsletter content
Overall responsible for management and maintenance across the digital landscape encompassing but not limited to social networks, websites, domains and hosting partners including renewal dates and costs
Track, maintain and secure hardware, software and other digital assets across the company
Expect travel in the UK and overseas
Expect different time zone meetings in order to liaise with international colleagues
