A Global Sports Car Manufacturer located in the City of London is seeking for an experienced Security Expert to be part of their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organisation’s security process, ensure efficiency of security solutions, and make certain that the overall IT services is aligned with the group IT security standards.

Role responsibilities 

  • Align with the company’s Tech Group standard to develop information security policies and ensure the implementation of information security measures in their offices.

  • Ensure that all IT infrastructure, services and processes meet group IT security standards

  • To lead and manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning. 

  • To ensure the security, integrity of sensitive data and business operation.

  • Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including DLP, firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.

  • Maintains security administration processes and assigns all access rights and privileges accordingly.

  • Consulting and support of the operative IT team in IT security matters as well as development of practical and pragmatic solutions

  • Creates reports and proposals for improvement of company level information security

  • To lead and manage all the internal and external audit and compliance activity such as GDPR, China cyber security law, etc.

  • Develop and manage information security budgets and associated resourcing

  • Actively manage third-party vendors to ensure that security solutions meet schedules and quality standards, and that costs meet budget.

  • Other tasks assigned by line manager.
