A leading real estate company based in the US with offices in London is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to be part of their global team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
Advise the management team on significant emerging threats and recommend tactical steps to counteract them.
Ensure the team manages and resolves incidents and changes promptly by overseeing a service queue.
Perform line management duties and mentor colleagues, ensuring the team operates with a security-first mindset.
Protect the integrity of the organisation’s information assets by responding to threats across multi-cloud environments.
Drive and make recommendations to enhance operational security effectiveness.
Conduct peer reviews of documentation supporting security workstreams, both current and past.
Skills and Experience:
Over 5 years of front-line experience in a cyber role, supporting multi-cloud environments.
Possesses a strong security-first mindset.
Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in patch lifecycle management
Has experience collaborating with other third parties in the security space.
Exhibits a strong understanding of cyber security principles, best practices, attack vectors, current threats, and remediation strategies.
Holds a solid understanding of the Microsoft stack, encompassing client and server operating systems, VMWare, AWS, and Azure.
Preferred familiarity with computer forensics practices and procedures, basic investigations, and evidence handling.
